The creative mind is always humming away and I began a new series of books titled "...AND ANOTHER THING"and am halfway through the third one. I have addressed 'Neuroplasticity' and 'The Calico Cat', 'The Miracle of the Still Small Voice' and 'Why a Dancer Never Gets Dizzy', 'The Railroader', 'The Hope Chest' and many more stories. I've written two cookbooks: " COMPANY'S COMING" and "COOKY FACE"My Art Work is going well. The end of October, 2017 will mark the second show of my new business, MYMUSE and is titled "LES FILLE ET LES FLEUR" (Sorry, my French is rusty). There was a lapse in time of fifteen years when something else took up most of my time---except for a course in Talk Show Hosting that went well. Thirteen weeks with my radio program, "The Soft Edge". (Still on Internet) I love it but if I had gone too far into that it would have taken up ALL my time.The music is written for a CD titled " Sweet Dreams"--- for Seniors. Maybe soon that will be ready for pub.The focus will soon be on the counselling part of my business, working with a great church with some of the most delightful people I could ever ask for.This part of my Arts business is a 'soft' one. My training has been essentualIy OJT, and I have been performing this work for almost more than fifty years.And I must not forget the eight books we have published since 2007. The books I published are these: "THE JOY REMINDER",Achieving meditation through Automatic Writing; "INSIDE THE HONEY WALLS", Styles and positions to use while Meditation, and "AN ELEGANT ECHO", How to change your mind through simple Affirmations. Two children's books, THE DRAGONS AND THE SIMMIES, and "HISS". The third book is titled "SMILEY ALI" and is ready for publishing.I will be available for phone appointments as well as face-to-face counselling. I have added a new venture to be included in the business because it seems like a natural progressionto do so. I have been asked many times to 'help' budding authors with their books and I have decided to go ahead and do that. It is usually difficult to know where and how to begin, and I plan to fill that niche that has obviously been there for me and I haven't taken the time to develope that part of the business. My first venture has been a raging success.

I am painting 'WHITE' at the moment and plan to show sometime this year. This series is a study showing that the introduction of white to a large portion of the painting can tell the story of the painting.I studied with George Rey at HAAC many years ago and it was his influence that causes me to be a painter today. and interesting. You haven't asked for words of wisdom concerning my thoughts about art and artists, but here they are anyway. Our art may change but artists never retire. I am painting a series with just this thought in mind...how have the impressionist artists and the neo-impressionist artists impacted my art, even from the beginning?When I paint interiors of my simple decor...the piano, the bed, the kitchen shelves and primitive antiques: As I travel, I paint in my mind and through my photos of the landscapes and seascapes, from foggy, misty Iceland to dusty border towns of Mexico and New Mexico: I paint the people I love and the animals I've had in my life both wild and tame, taking my time to first draw every curve and inlet of their heads and bodies, passionately. I select the colors that the subject warrents, not neccessarily the true life color, and begin to paint. Every painting is part of me and I never have been able to dupicate even the most simple of paintings because I have already given everything that I have to the subject. Viva impressionism!

Ownership of the business...I've got it all!

I have three special projects that I plan to complete before January 1, 2015. These are: 'SMILEY ALI', a children's book about the resilience of a child, ...'AND ANOTHER THING',small pieces of interest of many of the ideas that flit through my mind on any given day, from Artificial Intelligence to Emojis and 'ABSINTHE', my first novel. It has been a very fruitful year to say the least and I am grateful for that.

I continue to receive offers to be a guest on radio shows with my upcoming work 'UNFORGETTABLE FORGIVENESS" which has evolved from my class of the same name, that I have taught for some years.The Soft Edge", the Radio Talk Show that I created on VoiceAmerica Internet Channel 'The 7th Wave' furnished me with a wide spectrum of intellectual development as follows:> Made firm decisions about the show such as time, content, music, voiceovers, ads, guests, format, topics.> Held personal meetings as required with guests and used phone and computer to keep in touch with producers and engineers.> Wrote, researched, and executed one show a week, plus wrote the mp3 cards for that show.> Solicited ads and used available outlets to promote the show such as email, newsletters, personal websites, Facebook, Linkedin, Cambridge Who's Who, and word of mouth.> Interfaced with business men and women all over the world including staging personel for the Dalai Lama.>Worked with media supervisors and engineers to provide the listeners with credible, different, and well thought out programing.

This is essentially a learning/working position. *The host is taught the rudiments of marketing and advertising and is encouraged to get the Brand out there on the Internet, on the news--any way possible* Develops programing/chooses music/chooses announcer* Selects guests * Writes a story line for each episode for an E card advertisement* Writes a biographical sketch for the guest/solicits a photo or submits a graphic for each guest* Meets with the guest, if possible* Researches the topic to be discussed * Develops questions to pose to the guest/guests about that topic* Learns how to handle calls in to the show while on the air and performs it* learns to have a back-up show if needed* Learns how to interface with an engineer on the show and how to perform breaks correctly* Airs a one hour, four segment show every week on Internet Radio.* learns to solicit advertisers for his/her show * On each show the host's brand is marketed as well as contact information
