Principal, Owner and Founder of CruxHomes, LLC which is focused on providing beautiful, sustainable, and affordable high performance homes. Leads the effort to introduce the CruxHome, passive home design to the United States with the help of architects, engineers, construction experts and those interested in making sustainable housing more attainable.

•Oversee and perform special testing projects and forensic investigations of critical building systems, identifying failures and deficiencies to establish causation and help to formulate corrective actions. •Document conforming, non-conforming and corrected building conditions to create project documents that represent the development of the building throughout the construction process.•Conduct commissioning reviews of HVAC design documents based on building codes, industry standards, manufacturer’s installation data and user requirements reporting on inconsistencies, contradictions and deficits in the design documents.•Interface with project stakeholders to accurately deliver data and facilitate timely completion of projects, executed within budget and as required by codes and standards. •Served as primary project contact facilitating fluid project execution by connecting stakeholders with necessary resources and streamlining project implementation by anticipating and mitigating bottlenecks.•Primary point person for all commissioning and qualification activities. Performed building-wide assessments reviewing all building systems, taking particular note of the condition and function of existing equipment and possible energy conservation measures.•Assessed mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and completed troubleshooting activities to address deficient building function and document necessary steps for remediation.•Assisted with commercial aspects of OSDV Engineering including business development, generating proposals, billing, bookkeeping and payroll activities.

•Managed, authored and executed checklist documents for commissioning for new construction and retro-commissioning. Researched both new and existing equipment and systems to streamline documents and activities to create both efficiency and value.•Performed retro-commissioning of existing mechanical equipment to identify deficiencies, possible improvements and provided data for energy modeling and pursuit of LEED certification. Precisely communicated findings to management and clients to help manage project direction and track progress.•Carried out construction administration activities to ensure both design requirements and building codes were met while working with constructors to answer questions and resolve field conflicts.•Assessed existing conditions of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to provide engineers with as-built conditions for design of renovations.

•Developed and executed commissioning checklists and protocols. Created preventative maintenance documents for newly installed equipment. Compiled commissioning manuals into engineering turnover packages for maintenance and engineering for various project systems.•Performed quality testing of systems.
