As an undergraduate student of Computers, I collaborated with a Biomedical Engineering team of undergraduate students and Ph.D. faculty to answer research questions using computational mathematics. This research experience for undergraduates (REU) was sponsored by National Science Foundation. The research program occurred at Illinois Institute of Technology for 10 weeks during the summer of 2014.

Currently, I'm a Student Research Assistant with the Center for Operational Excellence, Business Intelligence department, at the City Colleges of Chicago. As the first point of contact for OpenBook system users, I address user feedback with the Remedy application from BMC Software. I research the Web for screen-capture software programs to use in video production of tutorials. I create and develop training videos for learning about the data warehouse, called OpenBook, at the City Colleges of Chicago. Some of the programs I use are, TechSmith's Snagit Editor, and Camtasia Studio. I must understand how to work with the data, in the data warehouse, and then successfully transfer this knowledge into a succinct video. My customers (users) are faculty and staff members of the City Colleges of Chicago. I report my production development, document my progress, to my project team leader. In addition, I am responsible for attending team meetings, where I present my video production for management review and approval.
