I am part of a team of security analysts that handles:- Threat hunting- Incident handling and response- Alert escalations- Testing new rules and alerts

The Security Analyst/Architecture team is responsible for security on the corporate LAN. We work with the business to implement secure technical solutions that are aligned with company policy. Responsibilities include investigating non-standard access requests, monitoring and responding to non-standard changes to the environment, writing procedures for admins and engineers (e.g. security requirements for adding new systems to the network), building and auditing security controls, performing security reviews and assessments on new systems and devices, and designing and implementing security tools and systems. Key contributions: - Identified gaps in security and designed and developed controls for them. - Identified vulnerabilities in systems and applications, and worked with system owners to remediate. - Authored several security procedures for infrastructure and operations teams to ensure the systems they build and how they are administered align with company policy and security best practices.

The Service Desk is Bloomberg's front line for all technology needs on the corporate LAN. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software incidents, OS and software deployment, and new user set up. Other responsibilities include working with other internal teams to resolve problems, and work on other projects as time permits. Key contributions: assisting with migrating to new antivirus infrastructure, documenting and training the Service Desk teams on the antivirus platform.

Assist the business with IT operations for Showtime, CBS Radio, and the Late Show with David Letterman, which accounted for about 1,000 users, with a staff of 4 technicians. Handled requests break/fix and IMAC requests.Key contributions: - Created installers for some of Showtime's in-house applications, allowing for them to be easily deployed remotely, and silently.- Led a desktop refresh project for the Late Show with David Letterman staff office. Coordinated work with the different Late Show teams, and provided post-rollout support.

- Provide IT operational support via remote and on-site means.- Handled break/fix incidents, IMAC requests, and service requests for over 10,000 users.Key contributions:- Created the first few iterations of a standard Windows 7 image using Microsoft tools to easily maintain and deploy the image to workstations.- Created software packages to be deployed for the Windows 7 image.- Participated in the setup of the York Avenue Building, and assisted with moving 13 medical departments to the new building. Worked closely with department admins and vendors to ensure all equipment was in working order prior to go-live date. Provided post-move support.

- Provided break/fix and IMAC support to a branch office with 40 users..- Assisted with tape backup operations- Liaised with vendors and remote engineers to resolve incidents involving infrastructure.Key contributions:- Trained staff on leveraging the technology in the office to better support their customers. Traveled to remote offices on the east coast to conduct the training.
