Assiting both the site and project manager in coordinating and supervising construction activities on site, including: managing subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring that work was carried out in compliance with construction drawings and health and safety regulations. Taking part in meetings with stakeholders and progress meetings with subcontractors, relaying important instructions to the construction team. In this role I was proactive in ensuring that any issues raised were actioned upon as soon as possible and confidently suggested solutions that were successful in working around construction issues with subcontractors as they were raised.I also lead daily start of shift briefings, allocated daily work to the site labourers, kept comprehensive daily records of works carried out, delivered weekly progress reports for the project manager and provided valuable insights on potential issues that may arise, as well as notifying the site manager and project manager of non compliance relating to insufficiently completed works that had gone un-noticed.I was successful in resolving some minor disputes between subcontractors and ensured that work was able to continue in these areas without delay, by delegating tasks in an order which allowed subcontractors to work in areas where they were not in the way of each other, while still keeping to the construction schedule.
