Focus areas included the adoption of a lean culture, mentoring leaders in the organization, guiding the implementation of key projects and initiatives including RPA, AR/AI, Drones, and LIDAR• RPA automation included the automation of 4 major data entry processes saving 11,000 man hours a year• Augmented Reality glasses for mechanics allowed immediate access to MRO documents on the floor reducing maintenance error rates by 17% in the first 5 months of use.• Drone utilization to replace human inspection and quality checks. Drones utilized AI and Lidar to eliminate need for a pilot as well as drastically reduce time requirements. Inspection time reduced from a 3 hour manual inspection to a 30 minute drone inspection followed by a 15 minute review. • Designed hangar layout for new build utilizing lean tools to maximize throughput, and ensure saleable transition to newer technologies as they become more readily available.
