As one of the directors at Pinnacle Education Myanmar, I oversee operations and strategic planning. In addition to my leadership duties, I also serve as an instructor for Physics and Mathematics, delivering classes to students both in-person and through online platforms.

RiseHarvest is a social enterprise that is developing a smartphone app to empower smallholder rice farmers in Myanmar to use fertilizer more efficiently.Responsibilities:Customer Relations• Handle relationships with farmers, rice-millers and fertilizer retailers • Arrange and organize visits to farming communities in Myanmar utilizing local networks in the grain industry• Manage execution of farmer field trials supervising on-the-ground staffBusiness Development• Assist administration team in Australia with accelerator program and funding applications• Work together with the management team to develop relationships with potential partners (pitch deck preparations, web meetings, etc)

CIVL1810: Engineering Construction and Surveying

Responsibilities:Design Coordination• Examined architectural and structural, floor plans and sections, and perspective drawings of building projects to ensure consistency• Identified discrepancies arising from design changes and implemented corrective measures to structural drawings using AutoCAD Design Check• Checked design reports of various residential & mixed-use building projects using ETABS and building codes such as UBC and MNBCSite Visits• Led junior interns in site-surveys (eg. measuring dimensions of a truss structure of a newly-built movie theatre)• Accompanied senior structural engineers, architects and site inspectors to site inspections and meeting

Project: “3D Printing of Structural Sections Using Recycled Plastic Filament”Achievements: • Discovered working 3D printing settings for 90% recycled PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) filament• Designed a 300 mm long and 3.5 mm thick plastic (PET) column that could bear compressive stress of ~24 MPa before local buckling• Successfully completed the project in 10 weeks (12 weeks projected) Responsibilities:• Studied “AS4600: Cold-formed steel” and research papers on section shape optimization of building columns• Analyzed and modelled 3D column profiles using AutoCAD and Thin Wall 2 (buckling analysis software)• Implemented 3D printing of the models using an FDM 3D printer and software programs such as Simplify 3D• Conducted compression tests on 3D printed models using an MTS criterion machine

Responsibilities:• Approached around 50 customers per day for sales and marketing of Fastwax • Built customer rapport to demonstrate the use of products and closed sales • Worked in teams to hit weekly targets ($2,500 per salesperson)
