I am an accomplished technologist with over two decades of experience in a variety of environments and fields. My early experience consisted of Office Automation and Database Administration as a Technology Automation Specialist in the Financial Aid Office at Lansing Community College. Pursuing my interest in Finance I moved to Chicago and took a position as an Options Order Clerk at Lind-Waldock Commodities Brokerage Firm. I quickly learned to calculate margin requirements for Commodities Options trading, place orders with the proper exchange, and issue Margin Calls. This job was fast paced with little room for error.It was my love for all things technical that then lead me into an entry level position at the Walgreens Tier 1 Help Desk. At the Help Desk I learned how to support and trouble shoot for every system in the chain. I was quickly promoted through the following positions: Trainer for Pharmacy systems for new Tier 1 Help Desk Coordinators, Programmer Analyst for Tier 2 Store Pharmacy Systems, Programmer Analyst for Central Pharmacy Applications, Systems Engineer for Pharmacy Execution Architecture, Senior Systems Engineer for Build in Store and Corporate User Computing, Lead Systems Architect for Design in Store and Corporate User Computing, Technical Systems Architect for Walgreens Engineering Architecture and Design and am currently the Lead Technical Architect for RunOps Joint Task Force controlling Walgreens Pharmacy Systems.During my time with Walgreens I have become well versed in the following technologies and applications: C and C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, Shell Scripting, HTML, SQL*Plus, SCO Linux, Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, Ubuntu, Mac OS X, Windows XP through 10, VMware ESXi, VMware vSphere, VMware vCenter, VMware Workstation, VMware Fusion, HP OpenView, Cisco UCS Manager, Oracle Database and Tuxedo, MySQL, MQSeries, and have developed documentation skills using all versions of the MS Office Suite including Visio.
