I was responsible for the verification of Quality Assurance programs in both installation and maintenance of communication equipment worth over $20 million, directly involved with making responsible and strategic forecasts and decisions in regards to personnel and equipment management and maintenance in support of the USN mission in the command’s area of responsibility. I directed a Maintenance Division of 20 personnel, responsible for the upkeep and management of telecommunications equipment in support of the Department of Defense and Naval Fleet Forces.I served as Departmental Career Counselor for 58 personnel, providing coaching, counseling and guidance in regards to both personal and professional matters, resulting in a 95% retention rate and over 35 reenlistment contracts being signed and executed. I provided equal opportunity assessment and training for an organization of over 300 personnel, leading to the implementation of morale, welfare and recreation programs to improve job satisfaction and retention rates.
