Marketplace Studios in Stockport provided studio space with creative business mentoring for new graduates and delivered a public-facing creative workshop engagement project space and retail testing space. I developed the vision, strategy and operational plan for Marketplace Studios, Stockport which supported 100+ new creative enterprises/businesses during my Directorship. I devised and delivered the business support strategy which provided advice, training & mentorship tailored towards the Creative Industries. I delivered a rolling programme of exhibitions and creative workshop programmes for the general public and with an Outreach focus. I also set up an education-led retail space which provided training and support towards developing retail products which were then sold in the shop space, where profit goes directly to the student/graduate maker.

Manchester School Of Art, Faculty Of Arts & Humanities

I provided an holistic approach to creative learning and talent development through Outreach with the community; the student experience; and support/mentoring graduate practitioners within the Creative Industries.At Manchester School of Art, Faculty of Arts & Humanities at Manchester Metropolitan University I wrote and delivered the Faculty's Outreach, Student Experience, Employability and Leadership for collaboration strategies, with a focus on career-readiness, incubation and enterprise within the creative sector.I devised and delivered an innovative Outreach strategy for Manchester School of Arts as part of the wider faculty of Arts & Humanities, which at its heart aims to improve the perception of value for arts education, inspire creative confidence for everyone regardless of age, race, gender or economic background; raise creative aspirations and develop creative and critical thinking as essential life skills. This was delivered through a variety of interventions in schools, across the Faculty and in the community and stretches beyond mere recruitment for the University but as a vehicle to provide creative engagement opportunities for all.
