As General Manager at Spectrum, I work with my father - the owner - and our partner, a highly recognized metal polisher in the industry. We manage a metal refinishing shop that finishes and re-finishes aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, and titanium with brushed, satin, and mirror finishes. While the majority of our work centers on semi-trucks and trailers, we also work on a variety of specialty pieces and architectural projects.In this role, I'm responsible for supply chain management for both shop materials and retail/wholesale inventory, bookings and client relations, inside sales, online sales, shipping and warehousing, social media management, payroll, and hiring, among other things important to keeping a small business operating smoothly. During busy times I would assist with grinding/sanding metal and cleaning/polishing automotive paint and RV gelcoat.Since joining Spectrum, I helped accomplish many important milestones:- Increased annual revenues almost 7x in five years.- Began retail sales of professional-grade polishing products, which went from 12% of our business in 2020 to almost 70% of our business in 2023.- Doubled online store sales in 2023 compared to 2022.- Introduced both well-known and brand-new brands to the market in Canada, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.

As the Workday Administrator for Finning Canada, I was responsible for supporting the HCM Application through incident resolution, data entry and update, data analysis, and custom report generation. As a Project Management Intern, I engaged stakeholders in Engineering, HSE, Quality, Operations, and Maintenance to ensure that backlogged projects up to $600k in value were completed on time, on budget, and with quality.During a roughly month-long full plant shutdown with tight timelines, I independently completed a number of special projects for Engineering and Construction management to ensure that shutdown projects went off without a hitch.
