This is being achieved by a series of collections reviews, an online database of Welsh natural science collections, a touring exhibition, training for museum staff and volunteers, and a number of community engagement projects. The project partnered with the Conservation Department at Cardiff University's School of History, Archaeology and Religion culminated in the production of a number of conservation advice sheets relevant to natural science collections. These advice sheets were researched, designed and written by students and are now available to museums in Wales and beyond as a resource. Five different advice sheets were produced in both English and Welsh.One lasting legacy of the project is going to be an advice booklet for museum staff and volunteers. The booklet guide will outline the Geology and Natural History of Wales, give examples of the kinds of museum specimens that document Welsh natural science, provide a guide to the care of these specimens and give examples of how to use them for education and public engagement.
