With over 16 years of manufacturing experience in the building materials industry, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers. As a Mill Manager at USG, I manage production teams in a 24/7 crushing and calcining operation that provides base materials for a wide variety of high-performance USG products. I am also responsible for quality testing, environmental compliance, and safety for the facility. My core competencies include Six Sigma, process improvement, engineering, and reliability management. I am motivated by the mission of USG to create innovative solutions for the construction industry, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team as a former broadcast media professional and a mechanical engineer.In my current role, I have successfully implemented numerous capital improvement projects, improved equipment uptime and efficiency, reduced waste and energy consumption, and increased customer satisfaction and retention. I leverage my skills in Six Sigma, process improvement, and engineering to identify and resolve issues, optimize processes, and enhance performance. I also collaborate with other facilities in North America to support their production needs and share best practices.
