As a pioneer in the Instructional Technology field, I strive to achieve best-practice technology integration into teaching and learning in any educational setting. My passion is technology-infused competency-based integration methods in k12 classrooms. Creating learner-centered classrooms integrating relevant technologies increases engagement and mastery-based learning. I love to teach and support educators to integrate new techniques that increase learner-centered practices. I have presented on a state and national level to K-12 educators on various best practices and technologies. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, a Master of Arts in Educational Media/Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University, and my Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Educational technology.
