Recruited to build and manage a product management team for a recently acquired startup (G-Technology) that provided high-performance, high-capacity storage solutions for creative professionals and prosumers. Owned the global product strategy and $40M P&L, created product roadmaps, positioning, go-to-market plans, messaging, packaging, and collateral. Managed technical and retail relationship with Apple.

• Owned the product management and outbound marketing of SanDisk’s SSD, USB flash drive, and imaging card businesses. Devised product segmentation strategies, created go-to-market strategies, managed product development and lifecycle, and developed value-added software/services to provide marketable differentiation. • Launched and managed SanDisk’s retail Solid State Drive (SSD) product line, starting at inception and growing to 9% share in less than 6 months.• Owned and managed SanDisk’s consumer USB flash drive portfolio. Grew business from $300M to nearly $600M in 3 years by using market research to identify unique positioning around data privacy and online storage. Managed creation of encryption and online storage software.• Prior to assuming responsibility for the retail USB flash drive and SSD businesses, managed the portfolio for SanDisk’s largest product line –the imaging card line which totaled over $1B in revenue. • Extensive experience conducting primary market research and using secondary research to gain consumer insights, define segmentation strategies, and develop product positioning and messaging.

Worked closely with cable executives at ATT, Comcast, Cox, and others to evaluate and develop new broadband customer acquisition channels with retailers, as well as PC and CE manufacturers.
