Born and raised in Plantation, Florida, to two northern transplants from New Jersey and growing up around their food concessions company, I learned first hand the importance of diligence, adaptability, and a tireless work ethic. Waking up at 5:00 A.M. to prepare for opening at 9:00 A.M., working the event until it closed at 10:00 P.M., and then not leaving until 12:00 A.M. after all 100 lbs. grills were cleaned and loaded up. Being the first on site and the last to leave; work hard, and everything will fall into place. If it doesn’t, work harder. The life lessons learned here helped guide me through my academic and legal career. My academic career truly began at the University of Florida for undergrad, where I graduated cum laude. For law school, I stayed local, attending Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad College of Law in Davie, Florida; the same town that I now presently reside in with my wife and our two amazing sons. While at Nova, I was fortunate enough to gain experience through the clinic program, clerking with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey. After passing both the Florida and New Jersey Bars, I moved to New Jersey to be with my wife, while she finished nursing school. My first five (5) years as an attorney were spent there, where I was pitted against some of the most talented lawyers in the greater New York City area. While residing up North, my primary area of practice was personal injury law; divided almost evenly between plaintiff and insurance defense work. In that time, I advanced to independently maintaining a bodily injury case-load, heading the personal injury protection (PIP) department, while also assisting in Workers’ Compensation matters.I was also a member of the Brennan Vanderbilt American Inn of Court; where I reached the distinction of Barrister, all while improving my abilities and increasing my knowledge as a litigator. In 2018, our family moved to South Florida to escape the cold. I also continued to work in insurance defense; extending my wheelhouse to include first party property insurance disputes. I also assisted in State-wide projects aimed at identifying, curtailing, and litigating against insurance fraud. My practice currently includes general insurance defense; specializing in bodily/personal injury and construction defect.
