Co-Owner / Co-DeveloperC Squared Enterprsies, Inc Sep 2010 - May 2017- Co-founded C Squared to create Photosmith for iPad to compliment the workflow of professional photographers. The app was borne out of the need to effectively manage images on an iPad without the need to transport a computer to a shooting location.- The app was intensive in many areas: raw data processing, heavily threaded to make use of multiple cores, optimized to use the GPU for display. Built in Objective-C and Lua.- The website and distributed updates were all hosted on EC2 instances, allowing us to scale up/down as needed following product releases and media attention. A solution to expand the service into a cloud-based offering was scoped and architected, but never implemented.- The app generated over $500k in sales and was unique in the mobile market for the four years of product life. I co-led a team based around the world and created partnerships with Adobe, Seagate, and others in the industry, and obtained necessary trademarks and patents.
