Cheewin K. Email and Phone Number
Currently a doctoral student in the Division of Systems and Synthetic Biology at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. My current research focuses on the computational modelling of microbial cell factories to motivate new engineering strategies for bio- manufacturing applications. I am also interested in exploring various ways to expand current constraint-based models to account for enzymatic and cellular costs to improve performance in computational design of synthetic microbial communities.Equally important to me, I also represent the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Foundation to establish dialogue in the emerging field of synthetic biology and am part of the entrepreneurship committee supporting the various startups that have spun out from the competition. My goal in the long run is to contribute towards the development of the biotechnology ecosystem in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
