Chris Lowe is an experienced software developer and manager, who has been lucky enough to work on some innovative technologies, as well as a broad selection of more hum-drum stuff. He's helped develop published computer games, including doing all the tricky 3D maths behind the first ever console game to feature motion-captured animation. He's developed control systems for nuclear power stations, and embedded micro-controller software for fruit machines. He's written printer drivers, protocol stacks, compilers, virtual machines and embedded real-time operating systems, device drivers and graphics subsystems. He's developed large retail databases, and managed the development of associated fat-client apps for label printing.Chris joined the Bluetooth startup CSR in late 2000, where he first wrote an assembler for the XAP microprocessor, then subsequently led the group developing programmers' tools, IDEs for debugging firmware, and all sorts of device drivers for all sorts of host systems. He's negotiated $1M purchases, and performed due diligence for software house acquisitions. He's also trained hundreds of engineers in the use of Bluetooth production test tools, source code management, and engineering task databases.In late 2002, it became apparent that there was no adequate way to manage tasks for the then-burgeoning organisation, so he designed and wrote the BugDB, an engineering task tracker, drawing on his experience with large retail databases. Its use within the organisation spread like wildfire.He joined Neul in 2011, where he developed IoT network and radio OSS on several cloud platforms, and then subsequently working on SIM solutions, including Integrated SIM technologies.
