Kewalram Indonesia Bandung (Indonesia) - Unit of Kewalram Chanrai Group. Here I was responsible for all day-to-day maintenance of Spinning and Process House. Also responsible for Govt. Liaison for Electricity, Depnaker Certification, Cess tax Public works Department. Achievements: My achievements here are as below. In power sector I saved power up to US$ 300,000 per annum by reorganizing Transformer loading, Efficient working of air washer plant and Humidification Plant. Manpower sector I saved US$ 100,000 per annum by reducing and also reducing Overtime cost. Oil and Water conservation by efficient way of operation and regular awareness programme I could able to save US$ 125,000 per annum. In machine stoppage and motor burning I could able to save US$ 20,000 per annum by improved maintenance procedure, training and latest maintenance techniques. In compressed air system there was major saving in running time by rearranging compressor and pipeline, and the saving was US$ 60,000 per annum. Here was also responsible for all civil jobs. And total modification of air washers along with the return Air trench was done in record time of 7 months with out disturbing any plant operations of 36,000 spindles Spinning Plant including plant design, air washer design and Chiller design. Responsible For New Projects for 33000 Spindle Textile Spinning Industry, Managing Maintenance for entire 100,000 Spindle Textile Spinning Plant for their Utility, Compressor, DG Set, Air Conditioner and Air washer Plant. ISO,  Two years and five months (From August 97) as Chief Engineer in P. T. Elegant Textile Industry, Purwakarta (Indonesia) Unit Of A.V.Birla Group. Here I was chief engineer for 100,000-spindle Spinning plant and responsible for looking after day to day maintenance for all electrical Electronics and Utility plants including DG sets. I was also responsible for all Govt. Liaison related to Electricity connection and regular maint. Of PLN line. I saved power in Humidification plant modification. Complete errection of 33000 spindles Spinning Plant for its Utility section. Work experience of LTG Air Condition system, Mc quay Chiller Wartsila DG sets. Achievements: My achievements here are as below. Here previous management took discussion to replace High efficient Fan with FRP Fan Blade from Encon Fan. This particular fan was measured with very Low static pressure and as a result department condition were suffering. Working hours of Chiller Plant went up and power consumption increases. I tested all fan measured the parameters as desired and replaced with old fans and departmet temperature become normal chiller working hours reduced. After that as a group a decision were taken for not to use FRP Fan for air washer. Rectified Compressed Air Problem from the Mill No-1 Permanently.

Responsible for Managing Maintenance & incharge for Upcoming Projects, Utility.  Two years as Chief Engineer Bhiwani Textile Mills, Bhiwani (Haryana) Unit Of GRASIM Industries (A.V.Birla Group) in Spinning and Weaving Sections. Here I was responsible for day-to-day maintenance of Spinning & section embroidery section for its Utility Electrical and Electronics department in addition to Effluent treatment plant and DG section. I achieved record in conserving power, reducing motor burning introducing computerized day to day on line maint and MIS data of engineering section. I was also responsible for all Government Liaison for Safety, Chief Electricity Inspector for sanction of new power and regular inspection and also with Pollution control board for regular inspection and trouble free running.

Responsible for Day to day maintenance Management for all Textile and Utility Equipment, Energy Conservation,Maint Standardisation, ISO, TQM.  Five years as Deputy Engineer at Jayashree Textiles, Rishra in Cotton as well as Synthetic Spinning. Latter promoted to Deputy Chief engineer and worked for 5 Years as Deputy Chief Engineer looking after all day to day maintenance of all electrical utility equipments including D.G sets. During this period I was working independently for Air washer design Chillers requirement DG sets and Transformer commissioning. I was Trained at Regional Labour Institute Kolkata for Safety & Health and Hazourdous act training for seven days. Also Trained at ERTL salt Lake for ISO standards and Audit. Also attended workshop and seminar for presentation of non destructive test and condition monitoring of mechanical gear box, bearing, shaft etc.
