Stiftelsen Kalkmølla Kulturstasjon startet sin virksomhet høsten 2006. Stiftelsen formål er å skape en levende arena der musikkopplevelsen står i sentrum. Med svært god akustikk, et lokale som gir en unik nærhet mellom utøver, og et spennende program år etter år, er Kalkmølla en viktig aktør i norsk kulturliv.

Centre for Welfare and Labour Research (Norw: Senter for velferds- og arbeidslivsforskning) at the Oslo Metropolitan University is Norway's largest applied social science research center. The centre has around 250 employees, and comprises four research institutes; Work Research Institute (AFI), Norwegian Social Research (NOVA), Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research (NIBR), and Consumption Research Norway (SIFO), and a centre for housing market research (Housing Lab).

Pro-Rector (Pro Vice Chancellor) at Kristiania University College (Norw.: Høyskolen Kristiania) with special responsibility for outreach, innovation and flexible and lifelong learning. Kristiania University College had around 15000 students and comprised four schools: School of Economics, Innovation and Technology; School of Communication, Leadership and Marketing; School of Arts Design and Media; and School of Health Sciences. Kristiania University college has campuses in Oslo and in Bergen. Kristiania is Norway's largest provider of online education.

Head of Department of Research Institute Policy and Public-Private Research Coordination (05.2018-...). Responsibilities include Basic funding for Norway's independent research institutes, Centres for Research-based Innovation, The Industrial PhD-scheme, and The Public sector PhD-scheme. Total yearly budget around 1,7 billion Norwegian kroner. Previously head of Department of Institute Policy (02.2014 - 04.2018) and Department of Humanities and Social Science (05.2015 - 04.2018).

Board member in a number of small start up companies, mostly specializing in technology, including: Sherpa Consulting AS (06.2017-10.2018), Innocode AS (01.2013-03-2015), Vega SMB AS (01.2013-12.2014), We Want To Know AS (01.2012-12.2014), Tjubi AS (12.2012-12.2013), and Cfengine AS (01.2010-01-2013).

Board member of Innovation Norway - Oslo, Akershus and Østfold.

Responsible for central research administration and the university college's libraries (around 100 persons). Managed the integration process of two independent research institutes (NOVA, AFI) and the establishment of a research centre (SVA).

Part of Opera’s executive team the whole period. Made important contributions to establishing Opera as a global player. Roles: Vice President Engineering (2001-2007), Head of Corporate Development (2008), Head of Products (2009-2011).

Advisor/business developer for TV2 Interaktiv (20% capacity).

Research Scientist (PostDoc) at Department of Philosophy, University of Oslo. Participated in an international research project (ALFEBIITE).

Research management and applied research at SINTEF / SI. Positions: Research Scientist (1990-1993), Group leader (1996-1997), and Research Director (1998-2000). The role as Research Director included P&L. Participated in a number of European research projects in the period. On permitted leave during two periods (03.93-03.96 (phd) & 07.97-08.98 (backpacking)).
