Most recently, I built out 40+ offices internationally. I was responsible for planning and coordinating all IT aspects of new offices; including cabling, networking, AV, security and more. Designed and documented the playbook for buildouts.Worked closely with the stakeholders to plan the workspace of their dreams, as well as the construction crews handling construction. Identifying any potential hazards or gaps, and finding cost effective solutions. Previously at Lyft -I was responsible for building out the IT department from the ground up as the first IT hire. I handled all support, systems administration, procurement, AV, and telephones. I managed external vendors and negotiated deals to ensure competitive pricing.Frequently leveraging external vendors and contractors where possible; I was a one man crew until we reached 450 employees in multiple offices.Built out the IT Team including additional IT support staff in remote offices.

As a network engineer I currently support a dozen clients around the bay area in a wide variety of industries from financial groups to law firms, to cutting edge big data startups. I handle every aspect of technology, including budgeting and project planning down to the final hands on details of plugging in keyboards. I am the go-to guy for each of my clients both on-site and remotely.I constantly juggle priorities between clients, ensuring that fires are put out immediately. I make sure that the highest priorities are attended to without losing sight of the small ones. At the end of the day, my goal is to make sure that the everyone has the tools they need to do their job, and get out of the way.

As the leader of a team of IT Managers, I wear many hats. I handle IT support at every level from the initial support calls for simple problems to the CIO level of identifying and selecting new technology.I interviewed and evaluated local candidates, trained those who came onboard, and mentored them as they ramped up.I deal with Windows and Mac workstations, Smartphones, Servers (including Virtualized servers), Firewalls, Switches, Internet Connections and Network Configuration.In a nutshell, I am the leader of the IT department for dozens of organizations large and small. I find the right tool for the job, and I get the job done.
