I am a mentor, coach, trainer and counsellor. I focus on coaching leaders and teams. My leadership coaching sessions enable clients to explore and consolidate their own vision, and to groom their teams for success, through right people-task alignment. In my team coaching, I work on individual empowerment of the team members, to enhance their effectiveness and team relationships, to create great teams. As a trainer, I have completed more than 5000 training sessions in India and abroad, apart from individual mentoring and coaching. My motto of ‘Empowering People to Help Themselves’ drives me to adopt a cognitive approach in mentoring. I emphasize on ‘Intelligent Application’ more than ‘Intellectual Understanding’ for positive change. My sessions are based on the concept of 'Living in Harmony' (LIH) that I developed from my learning and experience of psychology, management, social work and spirituality. LIH is a practical philosophy that has at its core, 6 pillars that enable happy living with healthy relationships. It is an approach to life, relationships and work that makes a person happy and successful. I hold master’s degrees in Psychology, Management & Journalism. Inspired by humanitarian ideals since a very young age, I have been involved in social transformation initiatives for over 40 years.I am the founder-director of ATMA Foundation, a voluntary organization for individual empowerment, family welfare, and community development. Started in 2006, ATMA Foundation now works in 9 thematic areas and has 11 running projects, campaigns, and programs. ATMA believes in 'Volunteering for Transformation' and actively engages volunteers for social good.
