My goals are: 1. To encourage people to change their lives for the better, and 2. To enjoy my life. My non-profit work with AboutFace-USA, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the Atlanta VA's veterans mental health Advocacy Council (vmhAC) and even the National Alliance on Mental Illness (I now teach their new program, Homefront). All of which help so many veterans and families that I feel blessed to be involved with them all. My true passion is for veterans and their families. AboutFace-USA is a strong advocate for veterans and families who want to turn around their lives for the better. Every person has their starting point, and we help them continue that desire to make positive changes. We help them progress through transitional phases of their lives, be it from the military to civilian life, from private health care to VA services, from isolation to networking, from unemployable to employable, and even from struggles with every-day life to successful life management.
