Embedded software development using customized AUTOSAR modules from customer.The ECU works as a HMI controller and display resource manager. It is connected to CAN channels and LIN channels over which information is gathered and interpreted before transformed into graphical views. Integration and protocol development for interaction with display SW (TAT Cascades) is included in the work. Some of the buses communicate with infotainment ECUs and therefore requires integration works to be performed. AUTOSAR basic SW is used, AUTOSAR COM stack and the run time environment (RTE) is defined and generated. On top is the application developed mainly using model based development. Claes is involved mainly in the hardware related programming and modelling within Vectors tool chain and communication protocols, LIN and CAN.The OEM diagnosis UDS, based on ISO-14229, is also Claes working area.

Function add-on for Infotainment Display ECUEmbedded software development A function add-on in the software made in the main display project made by Mecel.Claes updated the test tool suite with the new requirments.

Implementation of communication, SWDL and diagnosis.This project is a HW and SW upgrade of a previous project. As software lead at Mecel, Claes plan the function growth with the project leader.The software issue for Claes in this project was to integrate and configurate the MOST net services for the new MOST chip, INIC. He also adapted the OEM diagnosis and implementing Mecel Diagnostic Server on MOST. The OEM diagnosis is based on ISO-14230. The customer had SPICE requirement on the project.

Implementation of MOST communication, software download and diagnosis.During the start up of this project did Claes participate on two kick-off workshops at the end costumer with his expertise on MOST and diagnosis.The issue for Claes, as software developer, in this project was to adapting the OEM diagnosis and implementing Mecel Diagnostic Server on MOST. The OEM diagnosis is based on ISO-14230.

This project was based on previous project and Claes had the role as Mecel project lead. The project included as most 5 developers.The issue for Claes was to coordinate the work between Mecel and Delhi Fuba. He did also do the adaptation of diagnosis on MOST.This project was also handling support issues for previous project.

Set up a test suite for SAE 1699-3.Developed several SAE 1699-3 diagnostic verification test suites in TCL for Mecel test tool Mate.

During those years was Claes developing system program for ECU’s used on heavy vehicles body systems, vehicle computer and PC diagnostic tools. Thoreb has there own communication protocol running on a RS 485 2 wired bus. Claes was responsible for this development. He was also responsible for diagnosis, ISO 9141.Claes was representing Thoreb at a SP (Technical Research Institute of Sweden) and Nutek, (Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth) project. This project was called PÅLBUS, reliability of different communication busses and protocols.He did also do windows applications for service and diagnostics on the ECU system.
