I'm the 'fix-it' guy. I am very mechanically minded person. I love a good challenge of something that is broken and needs fixed. (although my wife and kids seem to take that as an invitation to break things). One of my favorite things to do is to work with and observe 'systems' then redesign them so they are more efficient. I know a lot of people find that boring, but I like to see how well I can make any machine run, whether its an actual machine or a restaurant staff. For the past 15 years, even though I have had several position titles, I have always considered myself a 'right hand guy' meaning that whatever the boss needs I make sure happens at the right place, with the right people, and at the right time.By day, I am a restaurant manager. Kite's Bar and Grill is my current place of employment. It is the largest sports bar in the state of Kansas. We feature 2 full service kitchens, 8 full service bars, 3 large patios, 75 HDTV's, and 2 dance floors all spread out over 5 buildings that are connected so you can bar hop without ever leaving the place. Kite's has been a K-State tradition since 1954 and continues today to be the best place to be in Aggieville.I also enjoy working with the No Stone Unturned Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and research of children with health initiatives and/or disabilities and their families. I am currently building my first teardrop trailer and am enjoying the challenge of carpentry with curves. My wife and I also help with the Lake Garnett Grand Prix Revival every October which is a tribute to the race tract, drivers and cars that were there in the late 60's and early 70's.
