I am a Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Nursing Studies (BSc. Hons).My passion is to assist people to cope with difficult emotions. I will listen to you without judgement and respond with empathy, empowering you to make the right decisions for you. I will not try to offer advice or to solve your problems for you. I am a Registered Nurse with more than thirty-two years experience in fields including palliative care, hospice care, community nursing and Occupational Health (workplace nursing).

  Hi, I’m Clair and I’m a Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist, working from my therapy room within my home. Person-Centred theory is based on appreciating that the individual is the expert on them self. Counselling helps the person to unravel and make sense of issues impacting them, leading to clarity and peace. I work with adults and children, dealing with issues including stress, anxiety, depression, workplace problems, bullying, bereavement, loss, low mood, poor self esteem and trauma.
