The Legal Services Group at TfNSW which Clair headed up is responsible for the effective management of legal risk across all of Transport for NSW's activities. This included the procurement of major infrastructure, rolling stock, digital services and the contracting out of public transport service such as ferries and buses and ticketing services. The Office of General Counsel is responsible for the management of all civil legal matters involving the NSW Police Force.

As ADAC's first General Counsel, Clair established it's first in-house legal function as well as being responsibility for the contracts and insurance functions.
