I work at Capgemini as a Learning and Development Program Manager and People Manager. I love learning new things and taking on new challenges which allows me to develop professionally every day. I work in a busy environment which requires good communication, team work and effective workload management to ensure deadlines are met. I find the work I do meaningful, and this motivates me to work to the best of my ability. I work with my team to plan the schedule of training for Capgemini UK employees in response to demand from the Learning Business Partners and company objectives. As a People Manager, I believe that people are a company’s most important assets and fully appreciate the benefits of valuing, supporting, and developing the “whole person” within a diverse team.Recent professional achievements include gaining a Bsc (Hons) degree in Psychology and a CIPD Certificate and Diploma in Human Resources Management. I recently received an Impact Award from Capgemini for my work with Learning and Development. I am confident I will continue down the pathway of continuous professional development throughout my career.In my own time I’m an avid reader and try my best to read broadly and a novice (very!) piano player. I love cooking, spending time with family and friends and going for walks in the beautiful local area where I live. I am curious about life, people and behaviour and try to learn something new, no matter how small, every day.
