Workforce Development is my passion and racial equity is my belief. Bringing these two worlds together has been a gift that I’m privileged to share with other workforce development professionals on a daily basis. Focusing on systems as the problem rather than people, I work daily to name and dismantle the systems of oppression that work to disadvantage people of color. Naming race explicitly when talking about problems AND solutions is the only way to change our workforce development systems to truly do what they were designed to do - support the upward mobility and seed the financial health of all workers.
