2010 onwards. The role involved a wide variety of projects including•Implementation of new clients into Paragon including fulfilment, inbound mail handling & online Point of Sales portal creation. This involved client liaison, data analysis, solution development as well as writing development briefs, project plans, reports etc•Process mapping of existing clients, identifying & delivering improvements, creating efficiencies and driving down costs•Setting up a Quality Management System for the Jarrow site; training staff on the requirements of ISO9001; writing procedures, work instructions etc•Mapping the core end to end site processes for Jarrow to create a detailed Statement of Works for potential Management Information System providers •Drafting & documenting tender responses, service level agreements etc for fulfilment clients•Delivery of numerous warehouse improvements including creation of order management applications, dashboard showing pick/pack jobs etc2006 - 2010 - Commercial Project ManagerI created a company-wide Bid Library, gathering collateral & pro-actively maintaining the information through regular liaison with all business managers. Working in a small team under the Commercial Director I produced quality, professional tender responses to clients, involving scoping & developing the solution, generally writing the entire tender document for others to review, cost and sign off.2003 - 2006 - Projects Manager & Senior Client Relationship ManagerI joined the company as a Projects Manager, setting up numerous standard documents for the department & implementing new clients. In 2004 I became fully based at our Jarrow facility as a Client Relationship Manager, having been asked to get involved with a particular account that was having some difficulties. As a result, the relationship with client improved, new procedures were developed & implemented. The account was built up into a £1m+ business over the course of the next 2 years.

North East

Worked for approximately 11 months (before company went into administration), mainly reviewing, developing and training a 20 seat helpdesk operation based on a client site. Role included performance management, training, writing procedures and manuals. I also undertook bid work for the business, as well as setting up a bid information library.

Farnborough, Hampshire

I worked within the Managed Services Unit, overseeing a number of high profile and high value bids, liaising with bid managers, providing advice and guidance as well as completing PQQs, ITTs etc including pricing. In addition, I designed and developed an intranet based bid information centre, researching and writing much of the contents. This included company information, case studies, competitor analysis and pricing information.

Farnborough, Hampshire

Bid/Project Manager writing PQQ’s, ITT’s, other proposals and presentations, as well as looking after the sales funnel, developing a bid information centre, undertaking competitor analysis and managing department budgets. I worked as a Project Co-ordinator on a corporate PFI project for a major blue chip client (c£100m / pa) working with 2 other companies on a partnership offering. Responsibilities included document control, managing timetables, tasks registers, key deliverable charts etc as well as maintaining the property information database and writing quality procedures.Subsequently worked on a number of PQQs and tenders including an £8m p/a facilities management tender, working closely with subcontractors to price the bid and supporting the Bid Manager in writing much of the tender documentation which ran across 5 large volumes. In addition to general bid management tasks I also designed and developed an intranet enabled customer services directory and helpdesk facility. I also undertook various improvement programmes within the business including helpdesk management (writing procedures, manuals and training staff).

Waterlooville, Hampshire

As a Helpdesk Manager I was responsible for the smooth running of 3 helpdesk operations, managing Facilities Management for approximately 500 buildings across several contracts ensuring SLAs were met and KPI reports written. My role included client and customer liaison, providing support to our technical team, managing administrative support staff, co-ordinating engineer activity and training operators as well as managing Buildings information, such as Forward Maintenance Registers, Inspections Registers etc.
