Worked within the NHS since 2001. Completed 21 years as Programme Support Manager Diabetes Eye Screening Birmingham, Solihull and Black Country. Vast array of experience, skills and knowledge within Diabetes Eye Screening Programmes and implementing a screening programme within the NHS. Skills in management, data analysis, project management, patient care pathways and development / implementation of IT systems. Worked within cross boundaries of integrating primary and secondary care. Report writing and data submissions to NHS England.Currently working as a Quality and Assurance Partner within the NHS since October 2022 supporting Women’s, Children and Clinical Support Services Division. Knowledge and skills in improving patient safety. Implementing developments to improve patients experience and safety within an Acute hospital setting. Knowledge of PSIRF, trend analysis, report writing and all aspects of Risk management. Currently training as a Quality Improvement Practitioner within the NHS.Prior to working within the NHS worked and trained within various accountancy roles. Within Accountancy firms along with within a PLC and management consultancy firm. Also provided training to owners to computerise accounting systems. Have full membership of Association of Accounting Technicians.
