New hotel opened September 17, 2013. Organized laundry room and housekeeping store. Trained laundry host and housekeepers. Put together 131 hotel rooms. Organized and inventory back stock of all guest room items and amenities. Inspect rooms. Work with chief engineer to keep all rooms and public areas in working order. Supervise 14 employees including housekeeper, housemen & laundry host.

Started as a demo class assistant and proved myself as a highly motivated team player. I was promoted to a hands on assistant and then a lead. As lead my responsibilities centered around training other assistants and assisting new chefs. During my tenure I was also responsible for wine inventory and ordering. Bar tending and training assistants to bartend.

Responsible for all in house events from cold calls, proposals, pricing, staffing, training and execution. Assist General Manager in hiring, training and scheduling for front of house staff. Work with Executive Chef on menu selections. Order all liquor, wine and beer. Inventory management of all spirits. Train all bartenders. Develop specialty house drinks and presentation.

Responsible for all private apparel brand packaging execution. Worked with graphic designer for correct label sizing, ticket format etc. Specified and bid programs to packaging suppliers. Negotiated lower packaging cost. Worked with buying and sourcing teams on new or additional packaging needs, tickets problems and various packaging issues. Interviewed and brought on board additional suppliers. Presented seminars for technical design, sourcing and buying teams on VICs hangers and Heat Transfers. Managed projects from logo’d trim to packaging cost analyst. Maintained gallery library and ticket writing programs with all label and packaging elements. Trained new associates on internal software programs and processes.

Serviced Montgomery Ward, Sears and Marshall Fields. Developed new business though cold calls, reestablished contact with accounts lost or having had no activity for more than 2 years and handle majority of incoming label information calls. Accounts consisted of but not limited to: Bachrach, Speigel, One Step Ahead, Club Libby Lu and Hammacher Schlemmer
