My current role as clinic manager involves managing a busy chiropractic clinic - ranging from the day-to-day running of the clinic e.g. practitioners diaries, patient follow ups, invoices, ordering stock etc, to staff management, liaising with external agencies and practitioners and problem solving, etc.My research interests are largely related to the long-term effects of childhood abuse in later adulthood; particularly the issues associated with emotional/psychological abuse. To date, my main findings relate to coping methods used, disclosure of childhood abuse, difficulties with emotion regulation and the effect childhood abuse has on parenting styles and adult relationships.
