Claira Wilson is a physicist turned teacher turned curriculum developer. She loves to find new ways to make STEM education more holistic and inclusive by including more play, more discovery, and more creativity.She studied physics as an undergraduate and eventually found she loved lead lab classes and tutorials more than research. She pivoted away from physics research to teach high school physics and math for 4 years. While teaching, she fell in love with creating curricular materials for her classroom that were scaffolded, student-centered, inquiry-based, and full of wonderment. She left teaching to write STEM labs and materials in 2016 and has worked for EdTech companies like Shmoop Inc., MakerState, Microbric, Embibe, and now Drone Legends.
