Claire is passionate about effective communication and strategy that leads people into fuller lives and a greater understanding of, and connection with, themselves and the world and communities in which they live - be that through the spoken word, the written word, one-to-one mentoring and coaching, pastoral care, strategic development work. She was appointed as Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2019.She is innovative, dynamic and clear thinking, with experience and skill in helping others to develop effective strategy and vision, and to build effective teams. Being an effective and dynamic communicator, Claire has organised, facilitated and spoken at conferences, events and training seminars in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the USA, the Republic of Ireland, Moldova, Malawi, Uganda and Rwanda. Claire is dedicated to the development of excellent and strategic Community, Student and Youth Work that enables people to flourish. This has fueled her working life, leading her to give her energies to third sector work, pastoral care, peace and reconciliation work, and investing time as an Associate Tutor with Oxford CYM (Professional Practice).Passionate about issues of Justice, Equality, Access and Community, both at home in the UK and overseas, Claire is determined in her vision to invite other people to grow to be passionate about these issues too. She has been engaged in work in Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, the Republic of Ireland, Romania, Moldova, Turkey and Iraq.
