As a freelance writing and editing specialist, I'm motivated by helping individuals and businesses clearly communicate important content through a variety of mediums- proposals, personal memoirs, picture books for young readers, curriculum development, resource materials, and copyediting to name a few. My passion is working closely with the client to ascertain their specific needs and overall vision, and creatively exploring ways to make dreams become a reality through the art of writing.In a previous life, I was a high school ELA teacher with 9 years of experience in the classroom. As an educator, I loved igniting a passion for reading and writing in young people. I also enjoyed working collaboratively on a team to build dynamic curriculum that deeply impacted students.
