I worked as Assistant Manager for North Carrick Community Benefit company. My role included administrating NCCBC’s funding applications, managing communications and social media, developing the Business Recovery and tourism projects, developing North Carrick’s Youth Strategy, and working alongside other local organisations and groups. I also supported the consultants working with us on the Foundations for Recovery programme, providing them with local insight and all community connections to bring all the amazing ideas to life. For more information on this visit: https://nccbc.org.uk/foundations-for-recovery/Previous role - Isolation Support Project- Set up and coordinator of project to support elderly and vulnerable people during the Covid-19 crisis.- Coordinator of over 130 volunteers across one town and 9 surrounding villages.- Working with local shops, businesses and community pharmacies to provide delivery services.- Supporting volunteers to provide a huge range of services including prescriptions and shopping deliveries, telephone befriending, dog walking, hearing aid batteries, community news, and more. - Creation and management of social media presence and community podcast content.- Creation and management of helpline available for people to request support and signposting.I have stayed on with NCCBC an I am delighted to now be coordinating various projects on their behalf including our local branch of the Scotland Loves Local campaign as well as our new website and business recovery initiative, NorthCarrick.com.
