The overall aim of the Production Manager is to ensure the delivery of the Takeover event by securing venues, bands, equipment and necessary production team with support from the Takeover Manager where required. I will also produce the production schedules, budgets and contingency plans for the Takeover and run up fundraising events with support from other production volunteers. I took on this role for the 2016 festival where we raised almost £5000 for the Oxjam Emergency Relief fund. This year we're back and hoping to beat last years total!

I worked as Assistant Manager for North Carrick Community Benefit company. My role included administrating NCCBC’s funding applications, managing communications and social media, developing the Business Recovery and tourism projects, developing North Carrick’s Youth Strategy, and working alongside other local organisations and groups. I also supported the consultants working with us on the Foundations for Recovery programme, providing them with local insight and all community connections to bring all the amazing ideas to life. Working for Pizza Hut, I have been put through an extensive and world class training programme on everything from customer service, food presentation, hygiene and quality, to health and safety and cleaning procedures within the restaurant. I have to respond to several different Shift Managers as well as the restaurant’s General Manager and have become used to working as part of a team on shift; managing my own section of tables, and supporting the other staff. It can be a very busy restaurant, and I have had to learn to deal with very full-on shifts, thinking on your feet and working quickly and efficiently. It has been very important for me to learn how to manage my time well, planning my university work around my shifts.
