Claire Burrow Email and Phone Number
I graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2004 with a BSc in Agriculture and Countryside Management and from there moved in with my long term partner Paul to work alongside the family on their dairy farm which had recently diversified into haylage production. My role in the family business soon emerged and facilitated the Devon Haylage enterprise to evolve into the successful business we see today. Combining a profound interest in grassland management, being a keen horsewoman from an early age and utilising an inherent understanding of the nutritional needs of horses, I have a passion to produce high quality forage for the discerning horse owner.I write regularly for Ridgeway Rider, Your Horse and Country and Southern Horse magazines and can be seen fronting the trade stand at various equine fairs and events throughout the year where I enjoy talking with customers about the merits of haylage and the importance of quality forage in the diets of horses. I also manage the day to day marketing of our haylage and am always on the look out for new opportunities to develop the business further. At home in East Devon in addition to Devon Haylage, I assist with the day to day running of our large suckler herd and beef enterprise. I have two young children, too many pets, am treasurer of the school PTFA and run the school Gardening Club.
