Production Manager with 10+ Years in the Apparel and Fashion IndustryWith over five years at my current company, I have progressed from Junior Sewing Machinist to Production Manager. My role involves managing a talented production team to consistently meet KPIs while overseeing all aspects of our production department.I focus on running the production line with minimal faults and continuously explore ways to enhance time efficiency. In addition, I assist in planning the production schedule and serve as the primary point of contact for any last-minute changes.Collaborating with the Product Developer to learn and implement new products is one of my favourite aspects of the job. This requires analytical thinking to identify the most efficient manufacturing processes. I take pride in motivating my team and maintaining a positive work environment, ensuring that each member feels supported.Having immersed myself in the apparel and fashion industry for over a decade, I have extensive experience with a variety of fabrics and materials, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their qualities.I hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Fashion Design and Production, during which I designed and created an Autumn/Winter womenswear collection. This project involved everything from initial design to planning, drafting patterns, creating garment specification sheets, costings, and ultimately manufacturing five distinct outfits.Additionally, I have over seven years of experience in customer service, spanning retail to bespoke.I am currently enjoying my role, but I am open to exploring new opportunities and potential career changes that align with my skills and aspirations.
