With over 30 years experience in the community sector in Ireland, my previous roles include Development Worker, Consultant and Project Manager. I have excellent group facilitation skills; extensive experience of designing and delivering adult education and training; and a flair for writing - everything from reports, to manuals, to funding proposals. I have had a number of articles published on the subject of restorative practices.I am interested in work that makes a contribution to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families and motivated by a strong belief in social and economic justice and human rights.Since 2010, I have been developing my work as a restorative practitioner and trainer at the Childhood Development Initiative in Tallaght, Dublin, Ireland. I now work with a large and wonderful team of Restorative Practices Trainers located all across the country and we are part of a national movement which is supporting better relationships between people and skilling people to transform conflict in a healthy manner. I also volunteer with the Alternative to Violence Project (Ireland) which is a training programme enabling participants to deal with potentially violent situations in new and creative ways.
