Currently maintaining the Telephone Services for the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom.Including fulfilment of mobile phone procurement, scrutinising billing, maintaining relationships with 3rd parties such as BT/O2/Vodafone. Assisting with faults/installations/office moves.Ordering of various Telecoms services/equipment. Dealing directly with customers (civilian and military) of all different levels to get their issues resolved.First point of contact for all Telecoms requirements.

Mainly dealing with first line fix of telephone lines/patching for Swindon/Bideford/London sites. Also managing mobile phone contracts/billing. Online billing services and scrutiny of telephone bills.Setting up new offices with desk phones, including planning, provision, installation.

Handling incoming 999 calls for the Fire and Rescue Service.

Working at various Communication Centres in the Royal Air Force, sending and receiving encrypted signals, working shift in a secure environmnent.Included telephone billing scrutiny and procuring/issuing of mobile devices.

Initial basic training and trade training and first posting as a Telephone Operator.Duties to include reception work of connecting military calls and billing.
