I have worked at Kirklees College for 19 years and have taught across all the Travel, Tourism and Aviation courses. I have also delivered Functional skills English to apprenticeship groups. I have the experience of meeting the requirements of several different awarding bodies, including NCFE, BTEC, City and Guilds and Functional Skills, since taking the role of Lead IV in 2013 my department has been awarded direct claim status. General day to day responsibilities include the delivery of a variety of courses, the responsibility for one course and the learners on that course, curriculum development, internal verification and the planning of educational trips and visits. I have recently moved jobs and now work in the quality department, as a PQL, working and supporting different areas within the college and liaising with awarding bodies.
