Experienced business professional with drive and passion! I am a Chartered Management Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor and hold memberships with CIMA and the CIOT. I am proud to be a member of these bodies working to increase the high standards in the accounting industry.I have experience in accounts & tax for small to medium size businesses, individuals and trusts; along with inheritance tax and capital gains tax. As a management accountant working in a range of industries across my career I have knowledge in the fishing, food & beverage, import & export, farming and property businesses.I can develop forecasts, generate management information to a range of stakeholders, team development, tax compliance, strategic advice and board level reporting. I am signed up to ethical codes of conduct when it comes to business and believe in promoting this.I have managed teams during my employment roles and have experience in developing and leading teams to their potential. I am confident in HR issues at business level. I have run in house apprentice programs and currently work as a CIMA mentor.I am IT literate and keep up to date with the digitalisation of tax and accounts along with the many tools there are on the market to help develop efficiencies in accounting.I believe in continual improvement and personal development and with those provide a sound grounding for management skills.
