I am an experienced, competent and professionally qualified internal auditor (CMIIA) and risk management professional. I have 20 years’ experience in financial services, obtained within the Benefact Group, a life assurance firm and a building society. I also have a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute, which I undertook in my own time. I am extremely proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and have a keen interest in the use of data analytics. I have a strong understanding of the regulatory framework surrounding the insurance industry and financial services in the wider context, as well as an excellent understanding of the three lines of defence. I have experience of managing a small team of internal auditors and deputising for a Chief Internal Auditor.
