I worked with a fantastic team and I supported the business and staff with all matters of HR. I have procured and implemented a new HR system and Employee Assistance Programme, recruited for junior and management roles and worked closely with other departments to update and introduce new policies and procedures. I am an experienced, competent and organised HR professional who has completed CIPD HumanResources Management Diploma (level 5). I self-funded my Level 3 and Level 5 CIPD qualifications and I am always looking for my next development opportunity through formalised courses, work experience and research.I enjoy the challenge of managing several high priority tasks at the same time. • I was responsible daily in dealing with HR matters within the workplace, including, disciplinaries, long term sickness, team folders, appraisals and general enquiries. I also aided our district in South Wales with disciplinary and grievance procedures.• Handled a variety of Employee relation matters, liaising with the Employee Relations Manager • I was responsible for a team of 25• I was responsible for the budget for the restaurant, including wages and sales• I moved to a new business as an Assistant Manager to help open a new acquisition. Working closely with the openings manager we set up the business, recruiting team, ordering stock and ensuring the safe delivery of the business.• During this time I applied to become the permanent General Manager and achieved this 12 weeks after starting the new opening in April 2015. Once this business was set up with a well trained and structured team, with sales building and reputation, I transferred as General Manager to a different Restaurant in the same District to rebuild the business there.• As Manager, I was responsible for the Health and Safety and Food Safety of the team and guests and any contractors on site. I am also responsible for managing the tight budgets set, challenging them where needed and ensuring I have the right time in place.
