I ensure effective communication of our programs, maintain administrative records, support church operations through various tasks, and preach regularly.

We also hosted and produced The Collective Table Podcast, which still runs today under the umbrella of Oceanside Sanctuary. Together, we interview a variety of authors, musicians, and thought-leaders on spirituality and social justice. In addition to regularly hosting the podcast, I manage the production, post-production, and editing of each episode.

In this role, I was promoted to lead in collaborative efforts to develop, plan, and implement programs and initiatives for children, youth, young adults, and families of SDUMC. I regularly coordinated and strategized with fellow clergy, staff, volunteers, youth, community members and partner organizations to develop the vision, direction, and implementation of the church's groups, camps, service projects, seasonal community events, trips, and other gatherings. I preached on occasion as well as assisted in worship preparation and leadership.

In this role, I supported the program and spiritual needs of a year-round camp and retreat center alongside a team of 13 full-time staff and 40 camp counselors.

In this role, I supported the day-to-day operations of the Duke Student Affairs office, as well as managed front-desk coverage by answering the phone and screening in-person visitors.

Blowing Rock, North Carolina

In this role, I worked alongside a three-person staff team who served a tightly-knit, local congregation which housed a free, self-choice market, cafe, and bakery-style food pantry that served thousands of customers and 180,000 pounds of food per year. I preached on occasion as well as assisted with the planning and implementation of worship and church programs, including a week-long student service-learning trip.
