I am the Lead Coordinator for the Multiply, Skills for Life Programme, at Adult Education in Gloucestershire. I am responsible for the day to day delivery of this programme, working closely with our external delivery partners and my team to deliver innovative numeracy education to adults across Gloucestershire. I am delighted at the success we are achieving and I am so pleased we are having such a positive impact on our learners. My career has always revolved around supporting individuals and teams to achieve their goals. Having spent most of my career working writhing the education sector, it may surprise you to learn that I am dyslexic and I have always struggled with ‘learning’. However, I think this has given me great insight into the issues others encounter with their own learning and a deep desire to support individuals learn in ways that suits them. I am passionate about the work I do and I am keen to create both working and learning environments that are engaging and full of enjoyment. I am a natural communicator with a warm charm and I truly love working with people. I enjoy developing other people’s abilities and seeing tangible outcomes, which I find truly gratifying. I am an organised person with experience of; HE and FE sectors; project management; stakeholder management and operational design and delivery of courses.Whilst caring for family members I have spent time working part-time in the charity and retail sectors, giving me the flexibility I needed whilst being able to continue working with people. I understand what great service looks and feels like. I hold myself to very high standards as I want every interaction people have with me at work to be a positive one.
