I am a Resident Assistant in Oneida Hall on SUNY Oswego's campus, working with only first year students as part of a 17 person team. As part of this role I help create and facilitate events for the hall, mentor students, and also maintain a safe hall environment. I also keep students up to date on campus policies and procedures, while educating them about on-campus life and expectations.

I am a writing tutor at the Writing Center, a division of the Office of Learning Services (OLS) at SUNY Oswego for both undergraduate and graduate students. I also tutor skills related to how to study and effectively manage time. I help students find their own voice and empower them to be more confident and knowledgeable in the classroom. I also have two years of tutoring experience from my high school career as a foundation to support my current position.

Over the summer, I worked as a Laker Link orientation leader to help welcome new incoming students to SUNY Oswego for the Fall 2022 semester. I helped to facilitate socialization, campus services education, and students’ sense of belonging on campus. I led both small and large groups of new students to and from campus events, answered college-related questions, and informed them of on-campus opportunities.
