• Detail oriented, capable of working as a member of a team, & working on an individual basis, taking a project from its initial thought phase toward the finish goal of providing the client a complete, fully detailed project within the required time constraints set forth and providing the necessary support to the general contractor team with regards to having the information complete the project within the time constraints & budget as scheduled.• Produced a wide variety of project types: Institutional; Commercial; Retail; Residential; Multi-family; Warehouse; Medical; and Educational.• Coordination meetings with clients to define scope.• Prepare schedules.• Existing condition documentation.• Document production for all phases of design through permitting - Schematic Design through Construction Documents, including review & coordination of all Consultants’ drawings.• Management and delegation of production.• Review of contractor's budgets with client for purposes of value engineering.• Detailed Code Research for given projects and implementation into projects. • Thorough understanding and knowledge of Florida Building Codes, International Building Codes, California Building Codes, American Disabilities Act, American Correctional Association standards, U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement Design Standards.• Coordination and communication of meetings with Clients and Code Officials, reviewers and Inspectors, with weekly site meetings with client representatives and facility heads.• Review of shop drawings and submittals and preparation of addendums, RFCs, RFIs and address Building and Fire Department comments.• Collaboration with superintendent's and construction project manager's to address construction issues.• Punch list coordination with the client for close out of the project to enable the client to be fully satisfied with the turn-over and use of the building as they begin to fully occupy and use it.
